Breakfast

Be spoiled at The Spotted Chook with a continental breakfast basket delivered to your room daily. Including fresh fruit, homemade granola, (or gluten free granola),local yoghurt, freshly baked croissants, home baked muffins, maybe a savoury treat. GF options available.

 We do a cooked breakfast one morning on the house for a two day or more stay when booked directly with us. Spotted Chook web site or via the phone 0438544296

Dinner

Sorry but we are doing limited Saturday night dinners.  When we do we use the freshest local seasonal produce to prepare our daily menu that reflects a fusion of Australian / French cuisine.

Dinner is served with our home made fresh bread. Bookings are essential before arrival and only on the Saturday night if available. There are lots of lovely restaurants within 2 ks of us. We are

  • Home-made duck and fig tortellini with goat cheese and walnuts with burnt butter and sage sauce
  • Roasted figs with goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto and baked with honey served with a rocket salad.
  • Twice baked zucchini souffle with fresh tomato sauce
  • King Prawns poached in orange juice tossed through home-made linguine with roasted pumpkin and sage
  • Rack of Lamb with quince and red wine sauce served with potato and fennel gratin and fresh greens
  • Parmesan crusted snapper with baby chats and peas braised in chicken broth.

Dessert

  • Steamed caramel pear pudding with Maleny jersey cream
